“I have had a passion for dresses and dress up since I was a little girl. I loved searching for unique gowns to wear to formals and dances, and would even customize my special thrift store finds to make them truly one-of-a-kind.

And so, I discovered the power of a good dress early on. There is a sense of pride and confidence that comes with being able to express yourself creatively through fashion, and with evening gowns and wedding dresses, the level of self-expression is almost limitless.

I adore helping women of all ages feel their most beautiful and celebrate their individuality. As the head buyer at Memories, my passion is variety. I pride myself on our diverse collection so that each of our customers can find the look that reflects their unique sense of style perfectly!”

Adrienne opened Memories in January of 2003 in her home town of Stevensville, MI. What started as a passion project, drawing from her experience as Miss Blossomtime 1998 and her love for unique and gorgeous gowns, soon grew into a thriving business and her full-time career. She has spent her life encouraging authenticity, with the tenant of her business being, “don’t dress like her, dress like you!” She has created a safe place for all things love and happiness, not to mention bringing the most unique and special bridal gowns and prom dresses to Southwest Michigan.

In 2006, Adrienne founded the non-profit organization “The Cinderella Project of Kalamazoo”, which is an annual event that provides free prom dresses to local high school students in need and makes prom dreams come true for hundreds every year.

Adrienne is the mother to 3 rambunctious children - Alex, Max, and Piper - with her loving husband and partner, Derek. She adores her staff and loves having them over for holidays and barbeques. She may have 3 kids at home now, but Memories will always be her first baby.
