Please note these important details before our event:
1. The Cinderella Project dress giveaway event is by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be available.
2. Each appointment spot may be used by up to 2 participants as long as they are OK with sharing the same dressing room at the same time (separate appointments are not needed in this instance).
3. Appointments last a max of 30 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to check in and begin your dress selection process.
4. This event is limited to currently enrolled HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY, and all those in need of a prom dress are welcome to attend regardless of gender identity. (Please note, we only carry dresses and do not currently carry menswear.)
5. Strict limit of 1 guest per attendee.
6. Participants must attend in person to receive a free dress.
7. All dresses are donated by the public. We do our best to help each girl find a great dress, but selection is often limited in sizes 22+. We cannot guarantee that we will have a perfect dress for everyone.
8. In the event that an attendee does not wear their selected dress to prom, the dress must be donated back to The Cinderella Project of Kalamazoo or a similar dress giveaway program (dresses cannot be sold).
Our annual Dress Giveaway Event is held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at The Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Program & Training Center at 601 W. Maple in Kalamazoo (this event is NOT held at the location at the bottom of this page). If you need to cancel your appointment or have questions, please email us at cinderella@dresslikeyou.com.
