Letter/Note from Adrienne
To all our amazing customers and community,
We know these are weird and often surreal times that we find ourselves in. No one likes the idea of having to adjust to a “new normal,” and we long for the chance to get back to those simple things that we now know we took for granted - close chats with friends, warm hugs, and big celebrations and life events.
In the meantime, it’s important to us that we do everything we can to protect our staff, customers, and community. We are so happy to be open and helping our customers plan for some of life’s most memorable events, and we are doing everything in our power to provide a safe shopping environment for our customers and a safe work environment for our staff.
Your safety and that of our dedicated staff and their families is our number one priority, Thank you for trusting us with your your life events, and for helping us make a difference in our community!
Much love,
-Adrienne

Yes! We are happy to be open and are able to help you with all our normal services! All shopping is by appointment, so please call ahead to reserve your shopping time. Group size is limited to a max of 4 people per appointment.
Do I need an appointment* to try on wedding gowns?
Yes. We like to work one on one with our brides and so bridal appointments are required. However, we will do our best to accommodate walk-in customers whenever possible. Please always call ahead to make sure we have a consultant and room available for you! [Click here to schedule an appointment]
What cleaning protocols do you have in place for in-person appointments?
We sanitize high touch surfaces daily and require staff to sanitize their hands before each new customer. Hand sanitizer is available in store for you and your guests.
Are masks required?
Yes, per recent CDC recommendations, we are requiring all guest to wear a proper face mask at all times while in our store (both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals). If you or anyone in your group cannot wear a mask, please email us at info@dresslikeyou.com for an alternate shopping option. If your mask does not provide sufficient protection to those around you (i.e. mesh masks, face shields worn without a mask, etc.), we will ask you to wear a surgical mask that we provide or you will be asked to leave. We want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to protect the safety of our staff, customers, and families.
What is your prom return policy?
All prom dresses purchased from our in-store selection are considered final sales. We do offer a limited 14 day exchange only period in which you can exchange a purchased dress for a different style or can return the dress for store credit (must be unworn, unaltered, and your event day cannot have passed), but we do not offer refunds for any reason. If you are worried about your prom or event being cancelled, we suggest waiting to purchase until closer to your event date or planning an alternate DIY celebration so that you can still make amazing Memories and wear your beautiful dress. (All special orders and sample sale purchases are final sales - no exchanges.)
Kaelyn and Jack became husband and wife on June 20th, 2025, in the most dreamy rustic field in Hudsonville, Michigan—surrounded by sunshine, soft breezes, and so much love. Kaelyn was glowing in her “Harper” gown by Maggie Sottero, a perfect mix of vintage romance and modern sparkle. From the petal-shaped hemline to the way the lace caught the light, she looked like pure magic. Kaelyn, thank you for being a Memories Bride! We’re so grateful to have been part of your love story—and this gorgeous beginning to your forever.
Hanna and Harrison said “I do” on April 26th, 2024, and every moment felt like a real-life fairytale. Hanna was a vision in her La Femme gown—equal parts modern, romantic, and effortlessly stunning. Helping her find the perfect dress was such a joy, and we’re so thankful we got to be part of her journey. Hanna, thank you for being a Memories Bride! Wishing you and Harrison a lifetime of laughter, love, and unforgettable adventures together.
Morgan and Kory said “I do” on October 14th, 2024, at the beautiful Heritage Hall in Kalamazoo, Michigan. From start to finish, their day was overflowing with love and joy.
